In May of 2011, Silverpop hosted Top Chef’s Richard Blais for a cooking demonstration at Atlanta’s World of Coca-Cola. House of Music provided all of the staging, lighting, and audio for this event. Because Blais required the use of both his hands during the demonstration, House of Music used a Countryman headset to mic Blais (see photo top right).

Atlanta Magazine has long been a source for happenings in and around the city of Atlanta, and House of Music has been there with them along the way. DJ Jeremy had the privilege of being Master of Ceremony for Atlanta Magazine’s 50th anniversary gala held at Atlanta History Center’s Ballroom. House of Music worked right alongside Mayor Reed and American blues/jazz singer Francine Reed filled the room with her amazing voice. Even former Braves Pitcher John Rocker was there.

With numerous years of experience, Jeremy has been involved with all aspects of the entertainment industry. Having credit in acting and voice-overs to being a well-known DJ and all types of event and audio productions, there are very few areas that have not been explored by his talent.

DJ

Being involved in the music industry opened up another interest and passion in Jeremy’s career, a love that he has always had for music. Through the years he has been a resident DJ at some of the hottest and best known nightclubs in Atlanta, such as eleven50, Vision, Fever, Cosmopolitan, Leopard Lounge, Sutra, Aiko, Verve, and many others. Jeremy has also played all over the US in a variety of different venues. Traveling non-stop through the summer months will lead him to cities such as New York, Miami, DC, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, Las Vegas, and many more. Playing a range of music that includes house, breaks, hip-hop, and top 40, everything is possible when it comes to playing for a crowd.

Acting and Voice-over

A non-stop passion to perform is a quality that is a driving force in Jeremy’s career. With credits of voice-over and commercial experience helping lead him to the casting of Titan football player #62 in the Disney movie “Remember the Titans”.

Emcee

This is the first area that he devoted his talent toward. Originally starting with Jefferson Pilot Communications as an Emcee host for events sponsored by Star94 in Atlanta, Jeremy gained local recognition in the community and later became the leader of Q Party Crew team with the Cumulus owned Q100. That experience-lead him to the world of motor sports with the Atlanta based NOPI Nationals Car Show Series and NDRA Racing and Drift Series. Hosting swimsuit contests and commentating for the races help build his confidence and experience to become one of the co-hosts of the Speed Channel’s television show NOPI Tunervision.

Production

Perfection is a requirement in all of Jeremy’s performances. Going beyond the expected duties to ensure a flawless production is a necessity in his eyes. Producing sound and light for fashion shows, special events, and concerts is a strong area of experience. With a positive attitude and outlook, you can rest assured that if he is involved, the production will be top of the line.

Got his start as a DJ at the height of Atlanta’s nightlife scene where he spun all styles of music in the city’s top clubs. He quickly developed a following and began booking private events and working with Star 94 as the host of their Splash Bash events. During this time, he started House of Music and soon found that, in addition to filling a need for DJ-booking services, many local businesses needed high quality technical assistance. Over the past fifteen years, Mario has helped Atlanta businesses enhance their appeal through superb sound and entertainment, and in the process, has built a healthy corporate client roster that includes The World of Coca Cola®, Atlanta Magazine, and many other clients. House of Music has expanded over the years and now offers a vast array of services from exclusive wedding packages to large-scale concert production. Mario is an expert at all aspects of event production and his attention to detail is unparalleled. His education (BA, Communications), honesty, experience, and proven track record has allowed him to make House of Music a top-notch Atlanta resource.

Jory Johnson, aka DJ sublime, started out in the underground throwing raves and EDM
weeklies as part of Vinylboy Productions at the Masquerade, the Vault, Market and the
Globe Theater. He quickly made a name for himself as an opener for many headliners.
Vinylboy became Surface ATL in 2003 and moved into the clubs and held long running
weeklies at both Hush in midtown and the Mark Ultralounge downtown. In 2005 Jory
was approached by TK productions / In Like Flynn and started dance / top 40 / hip hop
residencies at the biggest clubs in Atlanta (1150, Fever, Aiko). In 2006, Jory moved to
Aiko as a full time resident and played there until the club closed in 2009.

DJ sublime has continued to embrace any and all dance music and can play to any
crowd for any length of time, preferring to play the entire night if possible. I also have
tons of experience promoting my own events with a 10,000+ person email list that is
specific to the club/bar business, SurfaceATL.com, and a strong Facebook presence
(facebook.com/DJsublimeATL). I am a tireless promoter and work very hard to make
any club or event I am involved with a success!
