House of Music DJ Biographies
With numerous years of experience, Jeremy has been involved with all aspects of the entertainment industry. Having credit in acting and voice-overs to being a well-known DJ and all types of event and audio productions, there are very few areas that have not been explored by his talent.
This is the first area that he devoted his talent toward. Originally starting with Jefferson Pilot Communications as an Emcee host for events sponsored by Star94 in Atlanta, Jeremy gained local recognition in the community and later became the leader of Q Party Crew team with the Cumulus owned Q100. That experience-lead him to the world of motor sports with the Atlanta based NOPI Nationals Car Show Series and NDRA Racing and Drift Series. Hosting swimsuit contests and commentating for the races help build his confidence and experience to become one of the co-hosts of the Speed Channel’s television show NOPI Tunervision.
Being involved in the music industry opened up another interest and passion in Jeremy’s career, a love that he has always had for music. Through the years he has been a resident DJ at some of the hottest and best known nightclubs in Atlanta, such as eleven50, Vision, Fever, Cosmopolitan, Leopard Lounge, Sutra, Aiko, Verve, and many others. Jeremy has also played all over the US in a variety of different venues. Traveling non-stop through the summer months will lead him to cities such as New York, Miami, DC, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, Las Vegas, and many more. Playing a range of music that includes house, breaks, hip-hop, and top 40, everything is possible when it comes to playing for a crowd.
Acting and Voice-over
A non-stop passion to perform is a quality that is a driving force in Jeremy’s career. With credits of voice-over and commercial experience helping lead him to the casting of Titan football player #62 in the Disney movie “Remember the Titans”.
Perfection is a requirement in all of Jeremy’s performances. Going beyond the expected duties to ensure a flawless production is a necessity in his eyes. Producing sound and light for fashion shows, special events, and concerts is a strong area of experience. With a positive attitude and outlook, you can rest assured that if he is involved, the production will be top of the line.
The legendary Florida Break Beat has toured the world for over 20 years. Huda is featured on wikipedia as one of the pioneers of Florida Breaks. As owner of Kaleidoscope Music, Kaleidoscope All Stars, Puffin Records, Busy Beat, and co-owner of Uniscope Records he has released over 80 records and countless mix CD’s. His songs are featured in over 30 mix CD compilations, Movie Promos, Jackie Chan movies, MTV Punked (First 2 seasons), EA Sports video games, etc. etc. etc. He has toured all over North America, America, Central America, South America, and Europe. DJ 2nd Nature
2nd Nature is based out of Atlanta, GA, has once again advanced the art of music/video creation and performance forward like no one else. Whether it be making audio tracks and remixes in the studio, building video material from scratch, or performing to thousands in a club or festival atmosphere, 2ndNature revolutionizes everything he touches.
2009 took 2ndNature from coast to coast constantly, allowing him to take his live video mixing to hundreds of bookings and events. DJ Jobe started spinning in Atlanta over 15 years ago, and has become a regular name within the Atlanta DJ arena. From the first time he put the needle down, the word spread about DJ Jobe’s energy and he became a staple at many Atlanta parties and night spots. DJ Jobe has a long run of many club gigs in Georgia, Alabama, Florida (Halo, Park Tavern, Loca Luna) as well as some events in Europe. Additionally, DJ Jobe has played for many Fortune 500 Company private parties, including Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, InterContinental Hotels Group, T-Mobile, and GlaxoSmithKline. Another specialty of DJ Jobe’s is music festivals, where he has a knack of keeping crowds energetic and lively between band sets. Weddings are also a part of his repertoire, and his collection of wedding sets ranges anywhere from formal to party-centric. No matter the type of party or event, the dance floors are rarely empty. Self-taught and highly respected in the Atlanta nightlife scene, DJ Jobe brings a deep knowledge of music and a unique ability to read the crowd and tailor his beats for each event he plays. Beat by beat, Eumir Gutierrez, has been stirring up some of the most popular venues and events in the southeast.Also known as DJ EU, Eumir has been mixing tracks since 2005 quickly becoming recognized as one of the most unique and diverse DJs for his ability to mix everything from Latin to Electronica while keeping the dance floors full. DJ EU has opened for big name artists like Pitbull, Reik, Lauren Conrad, Jowell y Randy, Yomo, Nejo y Dalmata,Camila, Reik and many more. He was also the Official DJ for Universal Music Latin Billboard After Party. DJ EU spins weekly at the hottest upscale clubs in Atlanta, including Koo Koo Room Opera, Luckie Lounge, Sutra, Primal, and more. Following his passion and ambition as a reputable “Disc-Jockey”, DJ EU released his first MixTape CD, “Ke Es La Ke Volume, 1”, early in 2008. A year later, DJ EU released “Ke Es La Ke, Volume 2”. The substantial successes in both occasions have allowed Eumir to set his eyes in the future for a third and greater volume for the entertainment of his current fans.
Jory Johnson, aka DJ sublime, started out in the underground throwing raves and EDM weeklies as part of Vinylboy Productions at the Masquerade, the Vault, Market and the Globe Theater. He quickly made a name for himself as an opener for many headliners. Vinylboy became Surface ATL in 2003 and moved into the clubs and held long running weeklies at both Hush in midtown and the Mark Ultralounge downtown. In 2005 Jory was approached by TK productions / In Like Flynn and started dance / top 40 / hip hop residencies at the biggest clubs in Atlanta (1150, Fever, Aiko). In 2006, Jory moved to Aiko as a full time resident and played there until the club closed in 2009. DJ sublime has continued to embrace any and all dance music and can play to any crowd for any length of time, preferring to play the entire night if possible.
DJ SKY has been translating his musical interests and moods through the turntables since 1993, proving to be a strong provider, promoter and representative of the Atlanta hiphop/DJ scene. From ’94 to ’99, he scratched live with 8 piece instrumental/funk/acid-jazz band Sputnik. During his ride with Sputnik, he joined up with 3 MCs by the name of Mojo99 (now Heavy Mojo), scratching with other rotating band members from ’96 to late 2001. Throughout these years, he has built a name for his solo career DJing in many of the ATL clubs, shows, parties, radio and studio sessions with different artists and groups. SKY held residency on WRAS 88.5FM’s “Hush,Hush” show on the first Wednesday of every month mixing and scratching the best in down-tempo, hiphop & trip-hop instrumentals from ’99-2010. SKY can be heard mixing everything from the best in 80s retro to the deepest in underground hiphop in the clubs & bars to any decade genre rockin’ a corporate event or wedding reception! He also speaks and teaches to adults and kids of all ages and grades about the history of HipHop culture and the DJ!
DJ Danny M
Danny’s passion for music stems from his classically trained musical background. With over thirteen years experience in musical theory, he knows what elements are needed to make a party come to life. Currently you can find him entertaining crowds in some of Atlanta’s hottest night clubs. Along with his infectious personality, DannyM is sure to turn your event into an experience.
Mario got his start as a DJ at the height of Atlanta’s nightlife scene where he spun all styles of music in the city’s top clubs. He quickly developed a following and began booking private events and working with Star 94 as the host of their Splash Bash events. During this time, he started House of Music and soon found that, in addition to filling a need for DJ-booking services, many local businesses needed high quality technical assistance. Over the past fifteen years, Mario has helped Atlanta businesses enhance their appeal through superb sound and entertainment, and in the process, has built a healthy corporate client roster that includes The World of Coca Cola®, Atlanta Magazine, and many other clients. House of Music has expanded over the years and now offers a vast array of services from exclusive wedding packages to large-scale concert production. Mario is an expert at all aspects of event production and his attention to detail is unparalleled. DJ Johnny D
DJ Johnny D began his career while still in high school by sneaking in to Atlanta’s top dance clubs. Johnny’s success in the club scene led to a stint as on air talent for some of the most influential Dance / Top 40 radio stations in America. Atlanta & Las Vegas to name just a few. Johnny D continues has worked with some of the hottest names in music Akon, Lil Jon, Keri Hilson, Jonathan Davis, Usher, Yung Joc, Flo Rida, DJ Class, Travis Porter, Ying Yang Twins, Gorilla Zoe, DJ Khaled. & Bubba Sparxxx.
DJ Marcus Hurst
Although born and raised in Georgia, Marcus Hurst started playing in Florida where he lived a couple of years while going to audio school. For the love of music and going to clubs to hear other Djs play decided to buy some turntables and the rest is history. Getting residencies in clubs in Ft Myers, FL Marcus decided to expand his Dj career back to his hometown Atlanta. Self taught, Marcus is recognized as being able to play any type of party with any type of genre of music. Opening up for the likes of Tommy Sunshine and other headliners or playing private events like weddings or corporate events for Fortune 500 companies like Siemens, Marcus has made a name for himself. Now a resident Dj for over 5 years at CosmoLava and also a resident Dj at P’cheen.
DJ Quiet Storm
Brandon Oliver aka DJ Quiet Storm has been in the DJ game for a little over 7 years. DJ Quiet Storm was born in New York, raised in California and now resides in Atlanta. Growing up, Q Storm participated in many aspects of Hip- Hop, but the DJ aspect is the one that stuck with him the best.
DJ Q Storm (also known as Q Storm or Q) chose his stage name because it is the name of one of his favorite Mobb Deep songs titled “Quiet Storm”. The song also describes his essence perfectly because he is a man of a few words When DJ Q Storm is on the turntables, he lets his hands do the talking. So even though he is quiet, when he is on the turntables it’s a wild storm of emotions.
DJ Q Storm was once a promoter and saw the demand for good DJ’s. He decided to follow his dreams and become a DJ. He allowed his love of music to mold his destiny to rock the crowds and airwaves for his followers. Q Storm once only spun Hip Hop music, but he has allowed his love of music to show and reflect in what he spins. He spins everything under the sun with a good beat that can get the crowd going.
DJ Q Storm has spun at various night clubs and events in the Atlanta area i.e. Opera, Tongue & Groove, the Rooftop at the Glen Hotel, Final Four pre game party, Philips Arena and various other events …just to name a few.
As a Georgia State Alumni DJ Q Storm once held down the air waves of Georgia State University’s 100,000 watt radio station – WRAS 88.5 FM for 3 years. He had live shows on both Saturday and Sunday nights. In his last year at Georgia State Q Storm held down the Assistant Music Program director at the number one college radio station in the nation.
When Q Storm is not in the clubs, you can find him working for The Atlanta Hawks and The Atlanta Dream. DJ Q Storm is both the Resident DJ and Music Program Director for the Hawks and The Atlanta Dream. Q does everything from play the music at the games to make remixes of popular songs for the A- Town dancers. All the music that you hear at the Hawks and Dream games is 100% DJ Q Storm!
DJ Heather B
Seasoned Atlanta house dj Heather Sharp has been a staple in the scene for over a decade, and has held multiple residencies throughout the city. She’s been booked alongside many of the biggest names in dance music such as Eric Kupper, Vickter Duplaix, and Tiesto, to name a few, by a host of Atlanta promoters and event organizers. She’s played marathon sets from grand openings for night clubs to ritzy corporate affairs.
Heather Sharp grew up in Chattanooga, Tn., and moved down to Atlanta in her early twenties where she discovered house music. She soon learned the art of djing and has since mastered the craft, bringing people together to embrace the music.
She can work the swanky vibes of upscale lounges and hotels to funk-fueled peak-hour sessions in both glitzy nightclubs and grimey underground hot spots. Always rooted in house music, Heather is able to diversify her performances and respond to any crowd. A quick glance over her career so far shows a great many weekly residencies held at as many different special events and one-off’s. Over the years she’s kept the party going for Atlanta’s most notorious locales including The Wine Loft, Halo, Sutra, Beleza, Luckie, and Filter (formerly The Mark), and recently had to resign a 5-year run at exotic Midtown lair Bazzaar when the establishment closed it’s doors late summer 2009.
Heather has done very well entertaining the corporate world as well, recently performing for events hosted by Mercedes Benz and Microsoft. The Atlantan Magazine (who did a piece on Heather during her time at Halo) and The W Hotel request her services often to entertain guests for their many exclusive events.
